Getting Here

By Ferry
There is a car ferry which departs from Oban taking between 5 and 7 hours, dependent on whether the ferry calls in at Lochboisdale, Uist first.  In addition, there is also a car ferry from the neighbouring island of Eriskay.  More info

By Air
The plane service departs from Glasgow everyday, with the exception of Sunday.  Taking under an hour, the journey can be one of the main highlights of your visit to the island with the unique experience of landing on the white sands of the cockle strand.  Understandably, this is a popular option for many so it helps to book flights well in advance.  More info
