“Clach Mhor Na Gleanna”
The Big Rock of the Glens is perched high above the township of Ardmhor on the north end of the island. Access can be obtained by either parking at the woods at Cosy Corner and climbing up that way or by parking at the phone box in Ardmhor, and going up through the gate on the other side of the road, this route is the easiest.
It is said that if the rock falls, Barra will be doomed.
At the rock, you shall be rewarded by spectacular views right across Ardmhor, Northbay, Eoligarry and the outlying islands.
