Sea Breezes Self-Catering, run by Donald & Mary Flora Macleod, is situated in Bruernish a small crofting and fishing village on the beautiful Hebridean Island of Barra. Sea Breezes comprises of two separate self-catering apartments. Number 1(this one) is a 3 bedroom house sleeping 6 persons while Number 2 is a 1-bedroom flat which sleeps 2. Accommodation Both the house and flat have a superb view overlooking to the front, the enchanting Loch na h-Obe and its surrounding hills and from the back there are panoramic views of Bagh Hirivagh, where the fishing boats can be seen leaving and returning from their work, as well as Eoligarry in the distance, and the lovely islands of Eriskay and Uist. Sea Breezes is about half a mile from Heathbank Hotel which serves meals during the summer. The public bus service passes the house at various times daily – except Sundays giving easy access to all parts of the island. Wildlife trips can be arranged to uninhabited islands around Barra including Pabbay, Mingulay and Barra Head. Sea angling trips can also be arranged. Both apartments are modern, well furnished and nicely decorated with ample linen provided, including towels. Central heating is provided throughout the house and flat, also there is an electric fire in both. There is a walled patio area all around the house, with garden furniture and built- in barbecue, ideal for sitting out in the summer and to the rear there is ample space for children to play as well as washing lines. There is parking area at the front of the house.
