By Ferry
There is a car ferry which leaves from Oban and
takes 5 hours, on some days the ferry travels to
Lochboisddale in Uist. There is also a car ferry which
leaves from Eriskay if you are travelling down the western
isles.

By Air
There is a plane service which leaves from
Glasgow and lands on the worlds only commercial sand landing
strip, landing on the beach is a big tourist attraction and
flights are often fully booked in the summer so it helps to
book well in advance.
