How to get to Tigh Ciorstaidh

From Castlebay Ferry Terminal

At the T-junction at the top of the exit road from the ferry terminal turn right, signposted Bagh a Tuath (Northbay.) After 2.5 miles enter Earsairidh (Earsary), then drive through Rubha Lios (Rhulios) and Hellisay View is situated at Buaile nam Bodach (Bolnabodach.) you will see Tigh Ciorstaidh on your left. 

 

From Barra Airport

Turn left out of the car-park, following the main road through Aird Mhithinis (Ardveenish) to enter Bagh a Tuath (Northbay.) Turn left, signposted Bagh a Chaisteil (Castlebay – east side) and follow the main road passing through Bogach and Morghan, to Buaile nam Bodach (Bolnabodach). You will see Tigh Ciorstaidh on your left.

 

From Ard Mhor Ferry Terminal

On leaving the ferry continue on the road until you get to a T-junction. Turn left and continue until you reach a second T-junction at Northbay. Turn left and drive on for a further 2 miles. You will pass Heathbank Hotel on your right, Continue along the main road down a small hill and around a sweeping corner by the sea and as you reach the top of the next small hill Tigh Ciorstaidh is on your right.
