Description
Barra Storm pods are two self contained glamping pods that can each sleep 4. Ideally situated just off the main road in Kentangaval, Castlebay.
The pods are just over half a mile from the ferry terminal, shops, café, bars, restaurants, the bank and Kisimul Castle. It is 1 mile from the nearest beach and 9 miles from Barra Airport.
The accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge, kitchen fully equipped with a fridge with freezer compartment, combi microwave/oven/grill, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery. There is an electric heater in the pod and a TV/DVD player.
It has a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. All bed linen, towels and a hairdryer are provided.
The bathroom has an electric shower.
The decking outside the pod has a picnic table for sitting outside.
There are three parking places opposite the pods.
We have one pod that we accept pets to stay.
We don’t have any WiFi at the pod but the community shop Buth Bharraigh has free WiFi available 24/7

Repeat visitors to the pods,fantastic views and central for shops and castlebay.Everything in the pods you need and well thought out,we love them!Naomi is so helpful and you see she takes pride in her pods.Dont hesitate book them! We enjoy our walks and trips when visiting.We will be back….again???
Naomi came to our rescue when we were unable to find accommodation in Castlebay for 1 night to catch an early morning ferry. The pod was very good and suited my mate and I’s purposes – Naomi also organised a taxi for us to and from the local pub – I would thoroughly recommend
