We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meallard. Mairi gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, extremely hospitable and kind. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and with gorgeous views! What a great way to start our Hebridean Cycle. Breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Mairi for a wonderful stay.
All the best …. Caroline and Rob

I went with a friend to Mairi MacLean’s home in June 2018 for two nights. We found a very well-led B&B in wonderful location, a fresh large room (it was the “family room”) in perfect condition, incredible quiet surroundings close to a dream bay. We are completely happy having chosen that stay, hoping to return one day. Highly recommended!

Can’t tell anything about the accomodation. I did book by mail and agreed on phone with the owner, unfortunately when i arrived, there was no one there. I had to find a place on my own during summer time where everything is booked.
The owner did not reply to my phone calls. I did send a mail and she answered that she was waiting for us the week after and that she was not on the island… she did not help us to find another place.
The tourist information office couldn’t reach the owner too…
We went around the house 2 days after we arrived, and there was her car parked infront of the house….what a lie…
      Very disappointing.
If you look for accomodation, you should look somewhere else….
      i do not recommend !

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Mairi’s B&B. Great accomodation, a rich breakfast and a very kind and helpful host. We do recommend Meallard without hesitation!

I had a private seal just under my window! Maire is a great landlady, who is running all around the island, to keep fit – and because she likes it. The location is stunning! Beautiful rooms too. But dont expect any bacon in the morning…

My partner and myself stayed here last year and we had a great time. Lovely family run B&B. The views from the rooms are stunning. Breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. We would highly recommend a stay here.
      We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
